About Us

1238766_716599438353824_1888631026_nWe are the sisters of the Rho Chapter of Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority. We are located on the campus of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Founded in 1967, Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority is dedicated to serving the world around us, developing leadership skills and building lifelong friendships among sisters! The sisters of Rho Chapter at WKU, founded in 1993, strengthen the bonds of sisterhood while participating in OPA’s six main areas of service: university community, community at large, members of the sorority, nations of the world, mental health and an annually rotating president’s project. Our service events include St. Baldrick’s, Beauty and the Greek Pageant, Relay for Life, the Warren County Humane Society and many, many more! OPA sisters also enjoy all the benefits of being a part of Panhellenic Association, including Homecoming Week and Greek Week!

The purpose and goals of this sorority shall be to assemble its members in the fellowship of Omega Phi Alpha to develop friendship, leadership, and cooperation by promoting service to the university community, to the community at large, to the members of this sorority, and to the nations of the world.
